Jesse R. Western

Jesse has been a member of the Hearing Improvement team since 1996. He originally was trained as a technician and has an intricate knowledge of how hearing aids are made and repaired. Jesse’s desire to work directly with the public lead him to pursue his NBS-HIS license in the spring of 2002. His knowledge of every aspect of the hearing aid business has afforded him employment opportunities in large companies in the Mid-West. However, Jesse decided to remain in Utah, working at Hearing Improvement Center. He enjoys sharing his workplace with his family and will soon step up as president of the company.
Jesse spends his time away from the office volunteering for Powder Mountain Ski Patrol and Boy Scouts of America. He has a deep love of the outdoors and enjoys camping and fishing with his family. He and his wife Susan, live in North Ogden with their four children.
Ross L. Western

Ross has been involved in the hearing aid industry for more than 40 years. His desire to own and operate his own business led him to open his first hearing aid company in Wyoming. Later, in 1989 he founded Hearing Improvement Center in Salt Lake City. The Ogden office was established in 1996.
Ross’s experience in the hearing aid industry has taken him all over the Western States. In that time, he has been Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences as well as licensed in five separate states. Ross has helped thousands of people improve their hearing. Ross is dedicated to helping his patients hear better, and will go to great lengths to ensure they are satisfied with their hearing instrument. His kindness and devotion to his patients is the reason our customers return year after year.
Ross has a deep love of country and served in the Marine Corp. He enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, skiing, and camping. Ross and his wife Raylene, reside in Ogden. Together they have raised 3 children and now enjoy 8 grandchildren.
